While I do feel that this eportfolio could be beneficial to the class and to myself as a student, it can cause some issues for me. It is a very useful tool, but it’s only useful if we know how to use it properly, over time it will become a better tool because practice makes perfect, however it can be difficult in the learning process. This can be a very, very useful tool, it allows everyone in the class to interact together and see everyone’s work in the same space. It provides as a tool for all of us to have access to our work and to see others work outside of the classroom. An eportfolio for this class provides as a good way for the teacher to check in with our work and to see our progress without having to check in with us in person.
There can be disadvantages to using this portfolio because it can be complicated to navigate because as students, we may set up our websites a little bit differently, making it more difficult for the teacher to find the assignments. It can also be hard if there are other technical issues, like lack of power or access to wifi, or other possible computer issues.
